Camptothecin, CAS 7689-03-4, is a natural ingredient isolated from bark and stem of Camptotheca acuminata, available as light yellow needle-like crystal. Camptothecin is widely used as pharmaceutical ingredient. It is widely accepted as safe additive in many countries.
