Description

Lactobacillus acidophilus is a common strain in human or animal digestive system,vagina and breast milk. Most L. acidophilus can secrete organic acids to modulate pH in digestive or the other environment, especially lactic acid. Some strains of L.acidophilus have been studied extensively for health effect, such as prevent diarrhea and constipation, protect against bacterial vaginitis or urinary tract infections and enhance immunity. We focus on studying of lactic acid bacteria, Lactobacillus acidophilus was isolated from hundreds L. acidophilus strains. It can decrease pH and maintain pH balance, decrease blood sugar, and inhibit pathogenic bacteria and fungus.
