                                Gelatin, CAS 9000-70-8, is a mixture of peptides and proteins derived from hydrolysis of animal collagen, available as yellow or yellowish granular. Gelatin is an essential ingredient in gelling food. Pig skin is the most popular source of gelatin for food. Gelatin isolated from pig skin is named as pork gelatin or porcine gelatin. Our pork/porcine gelatin is fully isolated from pig skin and is perfect for used in gelling food and candies.
