Project Director-Food Preservation

Job Description

  • We are looking for project directors to lead our R&D teams focusing on food preservation research.
  • Our research directions include, but are not limited to: development of food preservation formulas based on natural ingredients, use of nanotechnology to deliver a variety of natural ingredients for various food preservation, development of edible food preservation composite films and coatings, use of genetic engineering technology to preserve fruits and vegetables preservation, etc.
  • In order to successfully provide high-quality services to our customers, candidates should have relevant food preservation experience as well as familiarity with the food research and development process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the research team, design and operate food preservation projects to meet customer needs.
  • Perform experiments, troubleshooting, data collection and data analysis according to all applicable regulatory standards and safety standards and form project reports.
  • Promote project progress and control project cycle to ensure timely delivery of results required by customers without affecting quality.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in food science and engineering, bioengineering and other related majors is preferred. Ph.D. in other related fields can also be considered.
  • A minimum of 1 year of working experience in relevant food research and development companies or food preservation research institutions.
  • Proficient in research related to food preservation, especially the mechanism of food oxidative spoilage, the use of nanotechnology to deliver natural active ingredients, the development of food preservation preparations, edible films and coatings, and food genetic engineering technology, etc.
  • Experienced in the use of specialized laboratory equipment, and capable of planning, performing and troubleshooting scientific experiments.
  • Excellent ability to find and solve problems, and promote project development.
  • Proficient in communication and written expression.
