Sodium Methyl Paraben, CAS 5026-62-0, is the sodium salt of Methyl paraben manufactured through chemical synthesis, available as white crystalline powder. Sodium Methylparaben is widely used as antioxidants. It is widely accepted as safe food additive in many countries, with E number E219.
