Program Director - Food Nutrition/Science/Engineering

Job Description

We are looking for project directors to lead our R&D teams focused on innovative research on food ingredients and formulations.
Our research directions include, but are not limited to: the development, characterization and validation of functional ingredients, technical additives and alternative ingredients, etc., as well as formulation solutions based on different food types and different applications.
In order to successfully provide high-quality services to our customers, candidates should have relevant food project experience as well as familiarity with the food research and development process.

Lead and manage the research team, design and operate food ingredient development and food formulation innovation projects to meet customer needs.
Perform experiments, troubleshooting, data collection and data analysis according to all applicable regulatory standards and safety standards and form project reports.
Promote project progress and control project cycle to ensure timely delivery of results required by customers without affecting quality.

Ph.D. in food science and engineering, bioengineering and other related majors is preferred. Ph.D. in other related fields can also be considered.
A minimum of 1 year of working experience in relevant food research and development companies or food testing institutions.
Proficient in food development related research, especially ingredient extraction, characterization, functional food validation, food formulation development, food sensory evaluation, food preservation, and food genetic engineering technology, etc.
Experienced in the use of specialized laboratory equipment, and capable of planning, performing and troubleshooting scientific experiments.
Excellent ability to find and solve problems, and promote project development.
Proficient in communication and written expression.
