Research Scientist - Food Nutrition/Science/Engineering
Job Description
- We are looking for research scientists with professional knowledge in food nutrition, food science and engineering, especially in food testing, ingredient development, formulation development, functional food research and other related fields.
- Candidates with complete research experience in relevant projects are preferred.
- Candidates should have rich working experience in relevant food companies/scientific research institutions.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the research team to develop food ingredients and formula, and design and implement the research scheme for the customer's projects.
- Timely grasp the latest progress in food field and explore projects that can be developed.
- Supervise, mentor and cross-train other scientists within the research group.
- Effectively eliminate and solve problems that hinder the successful development of research projects.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in food science and engineering, bioengineering and other related majors is preferred. Ph.D. in other related fields can also be considered.
- A minimum of 2 year of working experience in relevant food research and development companies or food preservation testing institutions.
- Proficient in food ingredient extraction and characterization techniques, food genetic engineering techniques and food formulation techniques, etc.
- Proven ability in project design and management, and capable of leading an R&D team independently.
